Our goal is to caretake this land as a sanctuary where spiritual seekers can externally manifest beauty as an expression of the divinity that shines within. Although we do not have many rules or require conformity we are looking for ways to grow and to support each other in our personal and spiritual evolution. A couple of us here have been observing long term practices of meditation and daily worship. We have found this helps to keep the land positively charged and helps to keep the overall energy of the space more conducive for personal change and contemplation. In this way a relationship with the land, trees, plants, etc. is created and by nourishing the landscape, the landscape in turn nourishes and supports us in our daily and spiritual lives.

By growing together with humility and sincerity there is potential for great personal change. The potential for beauty and abundance to radiate from our lives is enhanced by attempting to create community that honors sacred living. By putting energy into the landscape, gardens, living structures and into our personal relationships in the name of sacredness, helps us to move beyond our personality-based limitations and helps to support our higher goals. The relationship between the land and ourselves creates a synergy and helps us grow towards inner peace while assisting the land to become more abundant and vibrant. 

We have been fixing up the buildings and facilities and beautifying the landscape since we moved here in 2004. We have created an ever-growing organic veggie/flower/herb garden and are starting to create special places where some observe their daily rituals. The river that borders the property also helps to keep the energy moving, clean and vibrant and is a constant reminder of always receiving and always letting go.

Each of us (individual/couple/family) has their own living space complete with a kitchen.   Starting this summer we are planning to again sit as a group and share meals to appreciate the abundance and good company at least once a week. We are always evolving and whoever lives here brings their unique energy and ideas and in this way we are co-creating our community. We are looking for others who would like to participate in increasing the beauty of the place as a way to also create more beauty within.

We believe shared space that is occupied by those who are willing to compromise, support and acknowledge themselves as well as others, and who are willing to grow through their limitation can become a sustainable community where good will, mutual support, personal growth as well as joy and happiness grows, evolves and shines forth.
